Hi, my name is Bambi!

My story all starts when I found myself living life as a street cat. It was tough, but I was making the best of bad situation. It didn’t take long and I found myself in "the family way". Well, I knew the streets was no place to raise a family. I needed a cozy, warm place and I needed it fast … but where?

 

As luck would have it, I found myself trapped and ended up in the pound. It wasn’t cozy, but at least it was warm and it would just have to do. So, I had my babies in cat jail! Luckily Furever Friends stepped in to help me out and set us up with accommodations that were both warm and cozy to raise my boys. That’s right, I was a "boy mom".  I had three roly poly boys and man were they a handful!

I was always busy feeding and cleaning them…it's rough being a new parent. The humans offered to babysit and I eventually agreed just so I could get a decent meal and nap in once and awhile. Don’t get me wrong though, when it was time for them to go off into the big world I fretted and cried like any mother…would they be okay?  Did I raise them well? My foster family took me in their arms and told me I had done a great job and I deserved a bit of ME time now! Well, it didn’t take me long to realize that I enjoyed my freedom quite a lot!

 

I made some grown up cat friends and joined their local bird watching group. Then I decided to get my pre-kitten body back and joined the gym…toy kickers for abs and running stairs got me fitter then ever. My favourite new hobby is reading. I find my favourite human on the couch with a good book and I snuggle right up into her lap.

 

My foster family says that I'm such a loveable goofball and I’m always making them laugh, so I guess I dabble in comedy too! They say I’m ready to spread my joy to a family of my own now…so do you need a little joy and laughter in your life?
