Hi, my name is Kiko!
I only have 3 legs, but that doesn’t stop me from doing anything! I run, play, climb and snuggle. I can do it ALL!! I was found in a ditch, very sick. I had a really, really bad infection in my leg. Dr. Kate, at the Winkler Vet Clinic, worked really hard to get me better. I was young, weak and starved when I was found, so I went straight to a foster home. There I got plenty of canned food, a raw diet, several rounds of medication and lots of loving care by a wonderful family. Everyone was hoping that I would be able to fight off the infection, but it was just too much for little me and though I was feeling much better, the infection was still climbing up my leg. A tough decision was made by FFCR and Dr. Kate to amputate my leg. Good thing I have a strong will to live, a great Doctor and a foster family gifted at healing the wounded, because you will never meet a happier cat! I survived! I healed perfectly, I have no pain and if you adopt me, you’ll see how it hasn’t affected my cat skills or my awesome attitude.
I am a very unique kitty in lots of ways, including my cool colour, 3 legs and strange eyes, but what is most unique about me is they way I love all of you. I have my own brand of snuggly love for cats and people. Even though I was abandoned as a sick kitten, I will always love everyone in my life to the fullest because I know how close I came to death and how appreciative I am to be alive! I am ready for the next step in my life, a permanent home and family. I have been deemed “Healthy” by Dr. Kate.
