Hi, my name is Natasha.

My brother, Boris, and I have suffered at the hands of people. Abandoned in Altona…we had each other and that is all we had. We lost our home, our food source and confidence all in the blink of an eye. It's hard being street cats, especially if you weren't born to that life. I know what a bed is and I know what a food bowl is. It was hard to get help and poor Boris is still uncertain that things will get better. His confidence is shattered.

After being picked up by Animal Control, my faith in humans started to come back. I realized that we're lucky. The pound…not so bad. The guy who works there…he knows how to pet a cat and tried to make us feel better about being there. He told us that he would try his hardest to find a rescue or Humane Society to take us in. When he said they're all full, I cried thinking it was over for us. I wasn't sure how to tell Boris. The guy whispered to me that he would call the local rescue again because maybe, just maybe, they could stuff us into a corner of a foster home that they hadn't already filled to the maximum.

Amazingly they found a new foster home and we were “rescued”.

But that isn't all a rescue entails…spay day, treatments, vet trips, medications…more trips in the travel kennel. Oh how I hate the travel kennel! Photoshoot, biography interview and a whole new place with a new menu to get used to. It is a whirlwind of people, places and fundraising! It was hard to adjust, but now that we're in a foster home (and we are still together), I'll help Boris try to adjust as soon as my head stops sinning from the changes.

The next step in rescue will hopefully be my last, an adoptive home. I just want to say how grateful I am for my rescue and will show my appreciation with plenty of purrs, biscuit making and belly rubs.

Send in your application and make brushing my long hair your relaxation pastime.

Lots of love,

Natasha is fully vetted and available for adoption.
