Why Hello There, I'm Curly.

How did I get that name? Well that's easy. When I'm super happy and comfortable my tail kind of curls over. Isn't that cool! I used to be one of those cool tom cats struttin my stuff on the streets. People thought I was a tough ole meanie but actually I've got a big tender heart. Back in November I was just roaming around trying to find some cute babes, when I got scooped up and sent to the pound. At first I didn't understand why I was there, but hey chicks like bad boys right. I was a bit scared at first, but I soon realized I didn't have to fight for food and shelter anymore. The volunteers who came to feed me and clean my box were so nice, I decided to try living the inside life.

 

At first the transition to inside life was so scary. What was all the softness under my paws? My foster person said it was carpet. Gosh did it feel so weird. There were all these things that made noise and had interesting smells to them. Apparently they are called toys and you can play with them! It took me a while to come out of my shell and I was finally able to show my foster people that I'm a sweet gentleman.

 

I'm still growing in confidence as inside life can still be a little scary. I'm living with other cats and a big goofy dog. We all get along and I like having them as company. Foster mom gives me the best snuggles too! My favourite time  to snuggle with her is when she's working hard on her computer. So what do you say, would you like to take a chance on me?
