Hello, my name is Pixit!

Are you looking for a special sort of cat? Well, I might just be what you’re looking for. I was born feral, which means I was born wild. My mama taught me to be clever, cautious, and quick. She taught me how to survive, and then a Special Lady taught me how to trust. This Special Lady convinced me to come inside, she gave me a warm place to stay; and then, one day she was gone. I was confused, scared, and didn’t know what had happened. Furever Friends volunteers found me and explained that my Special Lady had passed away, but that they had a new place for me to stay where I would be safe. I was skeptical. I’m not like other cats…I need proof that people are kind. After careful consideration, these new humans passed my test and I felt safe again. Now I use my smarts for new activities like food puzzles and learning tricks! I’ve learned sit, sit pretty, jumping through a hoop, and I’m working on adding to my repertoire. My foster mom says I’m a fast learner, even quicker than dogs.

I’m going to be honest with you, you’re going to have to pass my kindness test before I trust you. My foster mom says my love is more than worth it! In the meantime, I’m an easy keeper…a litter box pro, quiet and a quick study at house rules. I get along well with my foster cat family, and even enjoy the company of the quiet, older dogs here. I have moments where I really love to be picked up and snuggled, and I have moments when I’d rather not. I’d like a home with adults or older kids that can read and respect my body language. I am always up for playing, so break out the wand toy and we’ll have a great time together!

I've been fully vetted, including spayed, blood tested, vaccinated and tattooed.
