Hello my name is Min!

I bet you’re wondering why I’m named Min Well, it could be short for Mini as I’m a teeny tiny cat. As a kitten I didn’t get a chance to get vaccinated so I grew up with a sickness and I didn’t grow as big as I probably should have. It was like having a bad cold but all the time. I was so sneezy and stuffy it made eating and growing much harder for me. Thankfully Furever Friends took me to the vet and got me some medicine that made me feel much better. Truthfully I hated that yucky medicine. I would hide when my foster mom came out with the syringe of that dreadful stuff, but she was very bossy and always made me take it. Good thing too because I started to feel so much better! I discovered food tastes amazing, and I would empty out my food bowl at every meal. I’m too old to grow bigger except my tummy… that’s just the right size now and perfect for petting.

Min also could be short for Minnie as in Minnie mouse. Not long after finding out how much I loved food I realized that my foster mom might need reminding that it’s supper time. Well I always like to be helpful so I opened my mouth to tell her and nothing came out but a tiny squeeeek! She chuckled and told me I had a voice like Minnie mouse. So now you know… I sound like a mouse… how embarrassing!

However I like to think the real inspiration for my name is from the Korean name Min which means quick and clever. Not to be boastful but I can outrun both of my foster brothers when we play tag and I always seem to outsmart them for the food bowl with the most food at meal time. They might not be quite as quick as me but it’s still great fun playing with them and they always let me join in even though I’m half their size. In fact I get along well with all the cats I’ve lived with so far and even the old dog here is my friend.

Truthfully my first year of life wasn’t easy at all and along with my small size I might still get the sniffles once and awhile if my immune system is stressed but the good news is being in an inside home with nutritious food and a bit of TLC has helped me thrive. Having all my teeth removed has made me pain free! My feline foster family are all vaccinated so we can play and snuggle and I don’t have to worry about them getting sick. Thanks to Furever Friends I have the chance to live a normal happy life.

I used to not like my “Min” name thinking it meant I was just “small and unimportant” but my foster mom says "good things come in small packages and I’m a very very good thing” So what do you say… would you like to take home this small package of a cat and we both can have a good thing … a beautiful friendship!
